11/4: Bell ringer; Continue working in stations, students must complete 4 assignments:

WRITING – must choose ONE 

  • Speech
  • Informative Story

ART – must choose ONE

  • Sun Poster
  • Visible Light scrapbook page

H-R DIAGRAM – 

  • Create diagram on paper
  • Use ruler and label all parts of diagram and stars
  • Must include at minimum
    • Sun
    • 10 main sequence stars
    • 2 giants
    • 2 supergiants
    • 2 white dwarfs

OPEN-ENDED QUESTIONS 

  • Choose 5 different colored question cards
  • Fill blank with word
  • Answer question

 

11/5: Bell ringer; Continue working in stations

11/6: Bell ringer; Pre-assessment 8.8C; TEKS breakdown 8.8C explore how different wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum such as light and radio waves are used to gain information about distances and properties of components in the universe and vocabulary in journals.

11/7: Bell ringer; Continue working in stations

11/8: Bell ringer, COMPLETE ALL STATION WORK
